Our innovative staggered-stud framing system allows for continuous wall insulation without the use of vulnerable exterior insulation materials. With an insulation value of R-23, our wall system is both a superior barrier to the desert heat and structurally stronger than traditional methods.
We use insulated doors and tight sealing windows designed to resist the solar heat gain of our hot summer temperatures and dust from our windy springs. Our high performance windows are not just Low-E coated to keep the sun’s heat out while giving you a clear view, but they even have insulated frames to keep harsh weather outside and comfort inside.
Our spray foam roof insulation does more than one job to ensure your comfort. By using superior quality insulation and applying it to the roof deck, we create an exceptional air-tight seal that keeps your ductwork inside the insulation envelope and avoids the typical attic temperatures. Las Cruces has blessed us, and we feel it is our honor and duty to invest in our community. Through building the 2015 LCHBA Anniversary House, Veloz Homes donated $82,000 to over 20 local charities and helped to fund a scholarship at NMSU. We continue to support local organizations like Wee Warriors Project, Turning Point Pregnancy Center, Fraternal Order of Police, Tutti Bambini, and Revolution 120, among others. During the pandemic, we provided 873 meals to show our appreciation to frontline health care workers and first responders, while also supporting local restaurants who were fighting to survive the resulting economic crisis.
We are honored to be the recipients of several awards for our quality homes and community involvement. Our 2020 Showcase Home won Best Floor Plan, Best Kitchen, Best Curb Appeal, Best Outdoor Living Space, Best Master Bedroom/Bathroom and Most Innovative. Owner, Jason serves as Chairman of the Capital Improvements Advisory Committee and has also served as President of the Board at the Las Cruces Home Builders Association. Co-owner, Julia and Director of Purchasing, Wendy were given the LCHBA Community Service Award in 2016 for their work on the 2015 Anniversary House. Jason was named Builder of the Year in 2017.
